ENTRY #2 KEEP GOING
KEEP GOING
Take a minute or two, to recollect the propositions you once had in developing a new change in your life. Many of us have thought of making changes in our daily routine, and in doing so we started with lots of confidence and determination.
Everything always seems to go well in the first, one to two weeks of a new routine. Yet, what causes one to stop progressing and give up all hopes of flourishing into a better version of themselves? Persistence is key to keeping motivated. People usually give up once they stop doing their new routine because they give themselves some time to relax or as some say, "a break". One should never stop performing their task until they have gotten used to doing their routine without forcing, or thinking twice if they'll do it again the next day.
Change is harder to accomplish if you, yourself don't want to put in the time and effort. Create a daily schedule, organizing your day by hour helps keep a neat day-to-day schedule. You'll always find time to accomplish multiple things in a day and can even find some spare time to do other tasks.
Some people might say that persistence is not an issue, maybe it’s their surroundings. For instance, you might have a family member that doesn’t understand what you're doing is important and need their support. They can further help out in motivating you by adjusting their schedule to accommodate yours. If your new change involves a healthier lifestyle, then they could help by not tempting you by eating junk food or fast foods. A family member can also help you keep persistent with your change by reminding you daily if you have accomplished your adjective. Never stop doing what you want and keep yourself motivated and determined every day.
